For Charlotte Mason families

Made in the spirit of Charlotte Mason

We’ll be honest: this isn’t a living book in Charlotte Mason’s sense, because it isn’t a story. It is one author teaching the Constitution to children. But we built it to come as close to her way of learning as a civics book can.

One warm voice

Written by one author who speaks straight to your child, not in the dry voice of a committee textbook.

Narration built in

Where the lesson moves to a new idea, a narration break asks your child to close the book, tell back what they learned, and tick the box.

Short lessons

One chapter a week, with a note for the parent on where to split it into two or three short sittings.

No busywork

No word searches and no filler. Every exercise asks a child to remember, apply or explain what they learned.

Ideas, not just facts

“You Be the Judge” pages ask children to weigh everyday situations against what they learned and say why.

Beauty and Scripture

Full-color, true-to-life pictures of history and family life on nearly every page, and Scripture memory verses to learn by heart.

Freedom is not guaranteed in the future and does not protect itself. Each generation has the responsibility to learn it, treasure it, and faithfully pass it on to the next generation.
